Stu Evans

Stu is a dedicated headteacher with over 25 years experience in the education sector and a rich background encompassing mainstream and specialist education, and alternative provision. With a career dedicated to inclusion, he brings a deep understanding of the diverse needs of pupils across a wide range of educational contexts.

At the heart of his leadership philosophy is the belief that strong, trusting relationships are the foundation of effective education. He is committed to creating supportive environments where every pupil feels seen, heard, and valued. By prioritising individual needs and working collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals, he has consistently fostered cultures where both pupils and staff thrive.

Known for his calm, empathetic approach and strategic mindset, Stu has successfully led teams through complex challenges, always with a focus on pupil wellbeing and progress. Sally Evans

Sally is a dedicated and highly motivated professional with over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, known for delivering exceptional service and building trusted relationships.

Throughout her career, she has developed strong organisational, financial, and operational management skills, qualities that are essential to effectively support the complex needs of an alternative education setting. She brings a reputation for being reliable, honest, and conscientious, with a proven ability to perform in high-pressure environments.

She is passionate about making a meaningful difference and committed to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of services that help create safe, supportive spaces where young people can thrive.

Mauriel Carty

Mauriel is a compassionate, trauma-informed support professional with a passion for helping children and young adults overcome social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

With experience spanning schools, residential care, and community programmes, he specialises in positive behaviour support, de-escalation, and creating safe, inclusive environments where individuals feel valued and understood. Mauriel brings a patient, empathetic approach to every role, building trust and fostering resilience through person-centred care.

Outside of his professional work, he is an accomplished international track and field athlete, proudly representing Anguilla at the World Championships, Commonwealth Games, and other elite competitions. His commitment to mental health advocacy, especially within sport, drives both his career and his personal mission to empower others to reach their potential.

Clare Goode

Clare is a passionate and adaptable educator with over a decade of experience working across primary, secondary, and specialist settings. She is committed to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Clare has led the development of personalised learning programmes that support a wide range of learners, from children with additional needs to adults building new skills. She has worked closely with schools, communities, and partner organisations to make education accessible, meaningful, and transformative.

Clare is known for her ability to connect with learners, inspire confidence, and bring out the best in both students and staff. Her approach blends creativity, compassion, and high expectations to help every learner succeed.
